Curating a family-friendly festival10 years ago, I started selling jewelry at art & craft fairs, just to see what would happen. My table location was terrible, but the related activities had potential. Naturally, I joined the Ravenswood ArtWalk as a volunteer board member to improve the experience each year.

Crafting a small business SaturdayWhile shopping at a local craft market, I met the event's organizer through a mutual friend. She encouraged me to consider vending again, then I coincidentally bought the house behind hers. It's my way of collaborating with local artists, twice a year, close to home.
